For us, it’s simple, food and family, that’s what life is all about. Combine the two and there you have it... La Dolce Vita.
Zio Gino’s passion for pizza and authentic Italian dishes began 35 years ago, shortly after he left his life in the small town of Afragola, Italy (just outside of Naples) and headed to the United States. Zio Gino and his wife (Zia Tina) started their own family and opened the doors to their first pizzeria in 1984.
Zio Gino's goal was to create and recreate dishes that his mama would make when he was a child. The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree; she was one of the best cooks in their town. And it doesn’t end there. Zio Gino’s son, Tony, can be found making pizza, cooking up a new recipe in the kitchen or offering up a handshake and a friendly chat to customers.
We take pride in our fresh and top quality ingredients, our homemade sauces, and our nightly dinner specials.
